speaker problem in remote system....


Hi,
i using mandrake 10.0 with KDE.
i can launch the totem player on the remote system using ssh.

the sound is in remote system but the totem display in my system...
then how to launch my speaker,the song in remote system...

i mean, i need to play the song from remote system to my system using "ssh "

how to change that...

thanks....

tcp_connect: couldn't parse url tcp:10.255.240.105

i have this error while i redirect...the sound..

It seems it needs an URL not an IP address. Try putting this in your /etc/hosts :
10.255.240.105 myserver.at.home
and use "myserver.at.home" instead of 10.255.240.105

I haven't tested any remote sound myself so I'm just guessing here.
