Sorry, there is already an instance of ifplugd for eth0 running. <solved>

Ok,

Well I had a wonderfull version of 10.0 and KDE 3.2 on my lovely computer for months now. I have really dove into Mandrake and love it. I my Mandrake box for most everything now.

Well there is many problems right now after I tried to update to 10.1 and KDE 3.4, but problems I think I can fix if I could just get my ethernet connect up to update and run some urpmi's.

So right now, I get the message above in the Subject when I run a drakconf in the console.

I am really lost on what to do.

If I run a ifplugstatus, it shows link. And i get an ip gateway all the good stuff. But when it trys to start it at the end of drakconf it shows failed.

Anyone know how to disable ifplugd? Or what I should do?

Thanks.

Disable Hotplugging in Drakconnect solved this issue. Now still having others with resolving host names. Anyway this issue is solved.
