solution for L 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99 99!!!!!!

what caused this: ran out of space on mount point /

solution:

1.) used partition magic to take couple hundred mb from /home to /
2.) downloaded 'the ultimate boot cd' (search google)
3.) after booting it, hit F2 for filesystem menu
4.) then used the ganji boot manager
5.) selected the linux image

that took me into mandrake

6.) went to 'configure you're computer' then 'boot' then 'boot loader'
7.) put on GRUB boot manager (was on lilo graphical)
8.) after verifying that everything worked fine, went back to 'configure you're computer' and changed back to lilo graphical

a little roundabout, but it works.

if you didn't run out of space on / you won't need the partition magic part
