Skype sound problem with Alsa Mandriva 2009.0 Gnome

Skype opens after typing "pasuspender skype" Sound is OK however if rebooting Skype does not remember this and there is no sound.

Solution suggested:
Maybe its because skype supports alsa and not pulseaudio, try starting skype like this: "pasuspender skype"

The following appears

ALSA lib pcm.c:2202:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM cards.pcm.hdmi

How do I correct that the sound card should be known? What is going on here?

do this please type it this way in a terminal su - -->-<-- is needed
su space then - then enter then password. ok your root with gui ability.
now type harddrake2 and enter. configur your snd card if it is already configured then it is up and working but why does it not work. so close the harddrake2 . and now type alsactl store
so now when your computer reboots it will restore setting.
