skype is not working...

Hi...
I installed skype 2 on my mandriva,but it doesnt work when i click on the icon nothing will appear,i tried this command

Code:

/usr/bin/skype

and the result was

Code:

Fatal: Cannot mix incompatible Qt libraries
Aborted

help me plz.....

Hi,

My guess is that you have a problem with your QT4 libraries.

Hi Mr.mick-duck,

I suggest you uninstall skype version beta 2.0 and fist of all, than install the skype for linux 1.4 and than install skype beta 2.0 version.

I have done this a number of times & it's always worked for me.

Downloading from skype.com is something I'd also recommend, just select the one packaged with static qt libraries.

I tried what they said but it doesn't work....
Now i will try to uninstall skype 2 and i will install 1.4.....

Skype 1.4 static and skype 2 both worked without any problems......
