Hey,
I have been using urpmi with wild abandon the last few weeks

and am now starting to run into problems. I seem to have run out of room on my / partition!
I have a partition at /var/www which is hardly using any space so I guess I could resize my partitions...although this sounds risky so I don't think I will do that.
What I was thinking was removing some software. As I have been using rpms, I figure I can just start rpm -e programs that I don't use. But what I am wondering is, will this free up room? Will removing an rpm, either through rpm -e or through the mandrake gui for removing software, actually delete all the files associated and give me some more room?
I just don't want to do this is it won't make much of a difference.
Thanks for any advice.
