It seems that the drakxtools package that you upgraded to can't work with your linux as it is was originally set up, most likely because the new drakxtools package has dependencies that your linux hasn't satisfied. Somehow you need to completely remove drakxtools and then reinstall the original version that came with your distribution, even if it means that you have to do a complete system reinstall. If you still have basic rpm you should be able to use that to restore your drakxtools. If that doesn't work, then I would recommend that you back up your data, wipe your hard drive and then do a complete system reinstall.
In general, I always test any new package for dependencies before I install it, to avoid the problem that you now have.
