rpm packages..


i have download some rpm packages from net.It unable install,it shows "some of ur packages may not be install" what is the reason?pls..

because there are extra files you need in order to install the rpm files completely. These are called dependencies. The easiest way to get behind them is to set up urpmi and download from there. search the forum for urpmi and that should solve some of your problems.
