Rom Does not show data on cd

The DVD/cdrom does not show the data on my data cdrom's. If I place a boot disk in the drive, not a problem. However when I place a cd in the drive with various files, Dolphin shows nothing. The drive works fine in Winders. I've been futzing with the settings for a half hour, now it's time to ask the experts.

When I go to config hardware, here is what it shows:

Mount point: /media/cdrom
Device: sr0
Name: MATSHITA BD-CMB UJ130AS
Type: auto
Options: umask=0,user,iocharset=utf8,exec

Any Ideas?

Assuming you are talking about a recorded CD. It may be how you recorded it on Windows. If you used the DirectCD/Packet Writing method to copy the files to the CD, then it is largely incompatible with Linux.
As far as I know, this is not likely to change anytime soon.
