Resize mouse Cursor in KDE MDK 9.1
I have nearly got there but need a little help. My mouse cursor would be a lot better if it were bigger. I ran:
$ xfd -fn cursor which shows that I am using character 0X000044 it also displays character 0X000045 which is just what I need. I cannot work out how to change my settings. There must be a mouse cursor item somewhere in the Configuration menu but I cannot find it. Presumably there is also a conf file somewhere that I can edit. ZB |
Hi Zaphod,
Try this - from the start applications menu choose Configuration -> KDE -> Peripherals -> Mouse and on the General tab there's a Large cursor option. Log out and log in again and there you go... It works on mine - my cursor completely hides that symbol in the xfd table. Hope this helps. keefo |
I *KNEW* that was going to happen!! I searched for ages and it had to be that easy, I must have looked at that peripherals window half a dozen times and that box marked "large pointer" just was not there then :)
Thanks. ZB |
