I wanna installed VDICT ( VietNam Dictionary For Linux (E-V, V-E, F-V, V-F) )and it need qt library was installed on my system! I installed qt ( it 's taken of me appx 1 hour ). And i 've added some line into end of my .bashrc.
but i still can't run ./configure. It always stop at :
Checking qt library ....
It said: my qt error, it can't findout qt > =2.2.0 although i 've installed qt 3.3.3!
What problem with these lines or with my system?
Should i run ldconf or more?
I had similar problem with QT libraries when I wanted to re-build the kernel. Since the QT libraries are not included as simple package and there are lots of dependencies, finally I installed the whole development package. Then all worked properly and also path and env. were set properly.
Hope this will help,
Michal
I had this error on Mandrake 10.1
*
* Unable to find the QT installation. Please make sure that the
* QT development package is correctly installed and the QTDIR
* environment variable is set to the correct location.
*
make[1]: *** [scripts/kconfig/.tmp_qtcheck] Error 1
make: *** [xconfig] Error 2
Then I installed all development packages from installation CD.
That solved my problem.
