problems with install...

ok so i finally downloaded the PPC version of Mandriva (Ltd Ed 2005) and have run into a problem.

I ran the install just fine on CD 1. I elected to erase the entire disk during hte Drakx partitioning wizard, installed disc 1 and 2, and on to 3 just fine. when it came time to install a bootloader, my mac stopped for a couple minutes and said that it couldn't find the boot loader and froze. I had to hold the power button down to get it to turn off.

I'm now trying to install it again, and now that i'm at the Drakx partitioning wizard, and it seems that i have no options; using the existing partitions wont work because the computer insists i dont have a 1mb bootstrap set up, erasing the disk doesn't work because it says i need a bootstrap, and custom partitioning isnt really an option because i dont know how to set that up well, and besides that my wireless mouse wont work during install so i'd have to just hold down the -> key on my keyboard to try to size up a large partition...anyone have any help to offer???!

thanks in advance!

anyone have any thoughts on this?

You need to create a bootworld partition about 1mb in size, you should be able to create a seperate partition with the filesystem as NewWorld., but I don't know much about Mandravia on Mac, only Ubuntu. (which I highly do not recommend, highly)
