hi,
I have a problem with gnome settings in kde, gnome fonts and theme. When kde is starting in gtk applications I get big fonts. To correct this I start in a terminal
gnome-font-properties and this solve the problem with any other changes, so only start then close the application. Also there is a problem with the gtk theme. Default there is a stupid theme that at the tables or combos doesn't show the selected item (just an sample), which is very frustrating. To solve this i have to start
gnome-theme-manager and select a theme usually I select "Simple", anyhow.
There is a way to do this automatically?
PS.
If I run in terminal
gnome-settings-deamon I get the message
Quote:
You can only run one xsettings manager at a time exiting

I have placed in
~/.gtkrc-2.0
Code:
gtk-theme-name="Simple"
gtk-font-name="Sans 9"
but it seams that these settings are ignored
