I am running Mandrake 10.1 over a ThinkPad 390X with a Neomagic Magic media 256AV.
After installation and when trying to start the graphic interface (KDE), it gives me the following error
Using vt 7
(EE) Failed to load module "usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.a" (once-only module, 135962511)
(WW) NEOMAGIC (0): Failed to set up write-combining range (0xf5000000,0x4000000)
In the console session, I am inside the XF86Config now and can see the line which give me the error, but what do I do with it now??
and copied word by word. Now the X server it works.
But (there is always a but)...
I cannot open KDE session, only IceWM...using console, how can I check whether I have to download the packages or they are already there.
How can I download the packages from console?? How can I install & configure??
