Possible solution for "resolving host" and Mozilla

I posted earlier that I was having problems with Mozilla taken forever loading pages because it was "resolving host". I think I found (actually someone else figured this out, I'm just putting it here for others) a possible solution (at least it seem's to be working for me).

Anyway the problem seems to be with the IPV6 protocal that is in the kernel. I recompiled my kernel without IPV6 and I don't seem to be having as long of a wait for Mozilla to resolve the host. Hope this helps others. I haven't done a whole lot of testing yet, just my preliminary observations. Perhaps others can shed more light on the subject.

I can't speak on the IPV6 protocol, but I can tell you that Mozilla Firebird is
quite a bit faster than the regular version of Mozilla.

The problem here isn't in differnces of speed between the browsers. The problem is with Mozilla taking 20-30 seconds to resolve the host. Once it finds the host it doesn't take much time at all to load the page.
