packages disappearing ?
I installed MDK9.2 sucessfully (on Pentium 4).
Then I had to recompile the kernel in order to install my wireless USB D-Link antenna (I used the same kernel 2.4.22).
My sound & cdroms are not mounted now (but this is not my question now)
I then wanted to add some other packages (publishing among them), so
from gnome I launched the 'software installation' and did it 'succesfully'.
When I went back to check my installed applications, I had even
*less* number of applications I had at the beginning...
I tried again, and got even *less* applications...
I rebooted, and still my packages are not available from gnome.
My packages are disappearing!
what am I doing wrong?
