NVIDIA Driver won't install on GeForce 6200 LE - EVGA Video Card

I am running Mandriva 2009 32 bit on an AMD Athlon 64 bit ESC Motherboard model 755-A2, chipset SiS755&964, Form Factor -ATX, and my Graphic/Video card is a EVGA GeForce 6200E NVIDIA, 128MB, AGP-8X.

I have tried to install with powerpack, but I get the black screen kiss of death with those EE error messages and I have tried to install manually and same issues.

The only way I can get to desktop is via XFDrake and changing graphics to Custom - org.nv

Can anyone offer any advise as how I might be able to rectify this issue....?

Thanks Again......

there is a reason why I would think mandrivia would have been on the ball with this.
http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_d...32_177.82.html.
down load this make sure you have your kernel source installed and your development packages.
you will need to boot up in run level 4. That's the place where you end up when you try to install the other one. another big thing is if you installed nvidia you should be able as root type nvidia-xconfig then all should be well that tells the system to load the driver and it.s specs. or just build the the driver type sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-177.82.pkg1.run in the directory where you put it. if this does not build then you will need the patch file nvidia patch 2.6.27. this all does not make sence with mandrivia though usually they are pretty much up on yop of this. patch kernel for there rpm. I was so dismayed with 2008 that I did not want to try 2009. untill things got better.also read this.

I tried the above and it stall gave me an error message, I switched down to a lessor graphics card a GEForce3 or lower and it defaulted to a generic driver.

I do not know what else do do, if there are any NVIDIA experts out there, I'd appreciate a tip or two....

Here are my glxgears:
