Hello again,

Can anyone explain to me how XFfree is configured so I have two displays (1280x1024@60hz) and the desktop spaning across them (2560x1024@60)

The only config I know is that I have to add the twinview "true" and some more options
in DEVICE section.

How do I configure SCREEN, DISPLAY, SERVER LAYOUT SECTIONS

an already used XFree86 would be good, but with some comments, so I know what I'm doing.
