no compiler?


just installed mandrake 9.2.. tried to install XMMS

You're doing it the hard way.

Go to your Mandrake Control Center.

Then go to SOFTWARE

Then ADD RPM Software or something like that.

THen go through the list and select XMMS. It'll ask you to insert the Mandrake CD's and that's it.

thanks, but I figured it out. I forgot to install some packages.

In the future, always see if it's already included in your Mandrake Control Center. Most popular things are.
