Newbe:: how to make CD's out of MANDRIVA 2006 DVD dump
 

i have copy of MANDRIVA 2006 (about 2 GB) on my hard disk. i want to make CD's out of this so that i can directly install it from CD's and get some free space on hard disk. but i don't know how to do it or it can be done or not...anybody help will be appreciated..

I have done it with slackware 10.1. There was
a script in (near the root) to convert the iso into 2 cds.
Definetely possible.

The reverse is as well, I have seen a few scripts around

Either here or in google type Mkcd how-to. it will guide you on your way. I am researching it myself for a cooker multi-DVD install, but there are directories in cooker not in the normal structure of Mandriva and I need to find out if they will be included and if so are they necessary.
