Wink Need help finding information for Mandrake.

I have read the Mandrake documentation that came with my 9.1 disks and I have downloaded what I could find on the Mandrake web-site, but I still have a few questions that I don't know where to look for answers to.
If you have the answers or know of a resource, besides an internet forum , where I can find my own answers thank you.
I'm using Mandrake 9.1. My desktop is Gnome 2.2.

i) How can I change the description of icons on my desktop? I have a CDRW and a DVD drive that Mandrake Galaxy has decided to call CD and CD(2). I want to rename them to something more appropriate.

ii) I have a 128MB keychain USB drive. How can I access it?

iii) I have a Mitsumi two-button optical mouse with a scroll button. How can I use the scroll button? I'm currently using the "Standard" mouse drivers.

iv) Does anyone know how to play Armagetron? How do I control my lightcycle?

Thank you

armagetron

go into the player menu and assign whatever buttons for turn left/right etc

on the mandrake cd's there is documentation on Linux and the beginners guide to Linux is also on the mandrake cd's
it's called rute

as for your mouse

you might try adding the follownig lines to the /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file under the
Section "Input Device"

Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"

Thank you. I will try your suggestions tonight.
"Rute", huh. I would NEVER have thought to look for that. Is this the same as the "Quick Startup Guide" and the "Startup Guide" I received with my OS? I didn't see anything specific in the guides to changing the descriptions of icons. I see how to CHANGE icons, but nothing allowing me to change the name beneath the icon.

Thank you again.

i think that to rename the cd icon would involve changing an entry/entries in the fstab file
and i do NOT know how this would be achieved

either do a search for renaming icons or post a new thread asking for specific help on this
