NdisWrapper Question

Has anyone had luck using a Broadcom BCM94306 802.11g wireless chipset on NdisWrapper 0.9-1? I want to use my Dell TrueMobile 1350 card with NdisWrapper, and it is known to work on their wiki list, but I'm not sure if it will work with 0.9-1, because that is the version that is avaliable on the instalation cd.

If the version of ndiswrapper does not work you may be able to use the lastet version from source if you don't mind doing stuff manually and getting your hands directy under the hood

Other than that, I have just noticed that version 1.0-2 is available from the Mandrake cooker - those rpm's are not guaranteed to work but they usually do...

Careful...

The Ndiswrapper you use must match both the kernel and some of the support files/RPM's.

If no you'll get a seemingly non-functional NDISWRAPPER, or a kernel module error.

If you see this, you have something mismatched.

I'd suggest using only the RPM's that came with Mandrake 10.x and only updating en-mass, so that you get the related RPM's... that is AFTER you have everything set up and functional.
