My graphics will not work (DCOPsever)
 

After I have installed Mandrake 9.2. I log on and the an error message come up:
There was a error setting up interprocess
communications for KDE. This message returned
by the system was:
Could not read network connection
/home/root/.DCOPsever_localhost.localdomain_0
Please check the "DCOPsever" is running!
How can I get mandrake working again?

hmm ---> /home/root/DCOP..etc..

That looks wrong already... unless in Mandrake 9.2 they have moved the roots' home directory..

Are you trying to run two distros? That may be your pain there..

I meant to put my user name instead of root.
Just a typing error!

I am running Redhat 9 and Mandrake 9.2 but they are both on different hard disks
