I run KDE in Mandrake 10. When I move the mouse the pointer jumps randomly around the screen. I can't click. Different windows randomly pops up while moving and clicking the mouse.
It's no hardware problem because the mouse works perfect when running Windows XP on the same system.
Problem is solved, as it seems, by itself. After a couple of restarts of the computer into Mandrake the mouse now works. I went to Mandrake Control Center and checked the mouse settings and the right type of mouse seems to be set.
