Motorola Q in Mandriva

Hi all

How do I use my Motorola Q as a modem in Mandriva 2008? Is there a way to sync it too? Thanks.

did it work in ubuntu?

can you post the specs on it....make model chipset pls?

does your /boot/log/dmesg or messages show any details

if not....try open a shell and command

su
lspci > /home/yourname/lspci

where you change yourname to .....?

and post output and any other details plse

also how does it connect....onboard with a phone line jack...onboard with a lan connection....dial up com port etc
