more webmin problems

This is very odd. When I use webmin to start apache, here is what I get:

Error

Failed to start apache : Apache does not appear to be running :

Starting httpd: [ OK ]

P.S. Apache is running.

What is going on here? Thanks.

In the webmin apache config, does it have the correct location for the PID file?

Thanks for the reply. That was it. The setting was 'Work it out' and the httpd.conf file had the path as clear as daylight. It must be one of many bugs in webmin on Mandriva. As soon as I copied the path from the config file to webmin, it worked.

When you discover a bug such as this, if you want it to be fixed in the next release or so, you should report it on Bugzilla, the Mandriva bug tracking system. If the developers and packagers do not know something is broken, it won't get fixed.

Bugzilla does not appear to be accessible now (23:25 EDT - GMT-4 - 2007-04-05), so you may have to make your report at a later time.
