Mono and 10.0 OE

Hello, I am thinking of installing mono.
I found these 4 rpms at rpm.pbone.net:

libmono0-1.0.2-1mdk.i586.rpm
libmono-runtime-1.0.2-1mdk.i586.rpm
libmono0-devel-1.0.2-1mdk.i586.rpm
mono-1.0.2-1mdk.i586.rpm

Has anyone installed Mono from RPMs on Mandrake 10.0 OE?
I am not sure of the details. Is this all I need? And does this give me the MonoDevelop, DocViewer, and other tools? From looking @ contents i dont think MonoDevelop comes with it.

I found this rpm:

monodevelop-0.5.1-1mdk.i586.rpm

Anyway, I'd just like some advice on what to do and how to do it to install mono, so I can try some programming with it.

Thanks a lot.

You could use the 'urpmi' command to install them.
You could put them together in a directory and enter:
urpmi libmono* mono*
Having them all on the command line will take care of
dependencies amongst these four packages. Although you
may still need to take care of other dependencies.

far easier...maybe Mandrake has these facilities or some of them

I have Fedora Core 7 and I am using KDE2

KDE icon->system->add/remove software

select/check all files mono* and monodevelop

click apply

under development in KDE popup

monodevelop IDE...open a .sln file from a MS Visual Studio project

Need some samples... I can email

or command line

gmcs Form1.cs -r:System.Windows.Forms -r:System.Drawing -r:System.Data

simple C# program no Windows.Forms

gmcs yourprog.cs
mono yourprog.exe
