Missing media.cfg file on Mandriva 2009

I have been trying alternate distrobutions on my laptop and just did a fresh install of Mandriva2009 from the LiveCD(KDE). I am having problems getting it to add sources for updates. I went to easyurpmi.zarb.org. I was able to add the PLF sources without a problem. But, when I tried to add the official sources, I get the following error:

"Unable to add medium, error reported:

...retrieving failed: rsync failed: exited with 35
unable to access the distribution medium (no media.cfg file found)
medium: Official2009.0-()"

Aren't the PLF sources saved in the same media.cfg file as the official sources? I am not even sure where the file should be located. If they are linking to two different *.cfg files, I am wondering if I can create a dummy file and update it? Or, copy the media.cfg file from my 2008.1 machine at home over to the laptop. I could then remove the 2008.1 sources and add the 2009 sources. Can anyone offer some help with this?

Barry

So far as I know, media.cfg exists on the mirror not on your system. Try a different mirror.

I tried adding media using easy.urpmi.zarb.org and doing it manually and got the same error message both times. When I tried to reboot, it locked up at updateconf. I think I may just drop back to 2008.1 and wait for the 2009.1 to come out before upgrading again.
