Mdk9.2: shorewall troubles

Right now I'm working without protection because that <BEEP> Shorewall has gone crazy again.
Everytime I restart my system, Shorewall decides to block all the outgoing traffic.
That means, that I cannot get a new dhcpack, and I cannot browse for webpages.
Is there a better firewall?
Or is there maybe a script to manage the security?

Search under drakconf - Security - Firewall and use it to setup the ports you want open on the firewall.
Shorewall should be enough for you.

As I mentioned in my post, Shorewall goes mad everytime I reboot my system. No matter what I try, I MUST uninstall and reinstall it, because nothing else works.
I can do what I want in the security settings, Shorewall keeps blocking my outbound traffic.
So, Shorewall is no good for me, otherwise I would not have asked the question...
