mdk 9.2 b2 + hyperthreading

Hello!

Just installed md9.2b2 which seems to be running ok.
However, I have a P4 with hyperthreading support and it would be nice to get it enabled (I guess I need the smp kernel?) (harddrake only shows 1 cpu (it should show 2)). Any ideas?

Many thanks,

Greetz

Bubba

hyper threading is a bios setting on my m/b SuperMicro x5dae

if like me you bought 2gb of mem, try appending mem=760M
to allow you to use the std type kernels and not just the enterprise one.

i can't get much out of my webcams or tv card with enterprise,
but do get pictures from both webcams and will get something from
tv card when i figure out what i am doing wrong :-)

btw bogomips on a 2.8G xeon is roughly 5600 per 'hyper' , as i see
see cpu0..cpu3 with gkrellm.

add 'acpismp=force' to your kernel command line, via your bootloader.

ok, I just installed the smp kernel and have HT enabled, now I need to reconfigure my bootloader, how do I do that if I'm using grub?
