MDK 10.1 offical CRASHED!?!?
 

my brother was on my other computer and he yelled he crashed linux and i laughed and didnt believe him. i later went to go look and it did crash. he was using konqueror ONLY and he said this happened. the screen faded out like how it does when u want to logout,halt,or reboot. the start menu was opened in the middle of the screen. nothing was clickable. the HDD was not at a load. so i tryed alt-ctrl-f4 and nothing happened. i was amazed. i tryed several other commands and nothing worked. so i rebooted it and the mouse didnt work so i had to reconfigure the mouse and was running normal since. Now tell me that isnt wierd!

Did you try and just restart xserver, most times xmight have issues but the O/S is still perking along fine.

how would i of done that

alt-cntl-backspace
or
alt-cntl-f1
log into root
type in service dm restart
