What do you mean? Are you using dialup? Did you install Mandriva and Suse or did you run them from the cd/dvd? I can't say that I've noticed any speed difference between Mandriva and Ubuntu when it comes to the internet!
I do not use dial up with modem.
I use DSL modem, broadband service.
ubuntu is pretty fast in internet,
mandriva just slow, i do not know why? maybe due to settings?
