Mandriva 2008 POWERPACK autorun

Hi, I am having a little difficulty with Mandriva 2008. When you log out it saves the system state and when you log back in it attemptes to run everything that was on the last time you logged out. How do I stop this. I run compiz and other eye-candy and this feature is causing me problems. I cant find which process it is.

If you are using the KDE desktop I think you need the 'Session Manager' from the 'Control Centre'.
The path to it should be something like this:-

K menu > Settings > Control Centre > KDE Components > Session Manager

or alternatively:-

K menu > Tools > System Tools > Control Centre > KDE Components > Session Manager

Select "Start with an empty session"

Thx very much, Been looking for that for days. I didn't have the Control panel in my menu. But I did get to it by typing kcontrol in a terminal window. Thx again.
