Mandriva 2007 slow

Hi,

I have tried Kubuntu 7.04beta which is running more services than Mandriva and Kubuntu is more faster and responsiver than Mandriva 07.
Why is that?

The only thing I can think of is your hardware is not completely installed.

I know that with out the 3d graphics card drivers my system is a little bit slower.

There are possibly other reasons for this though, and judging by the number

of days this thread has been here without a response, I'd say hardware was it.
