Mandrake issues, please enlighten me
 

OK, so i was about to give mandrake 10 a try now, but then i had bf installed it first, he had some problems with regards to sounds. I thought he'll get some updates..... but then, i was reading some posts around here, and i saw this 200mb update!!! I was shock upon reading it... so i was likely wanna ask if its necessary to have a broadband because i'm just using a dial-up connection... so tell me, would it be a big problem for me?

yes updates are necessary, and you may as well get them now before they reach 500mb worth of updates, that way it will be easier to keep up to date while on dial up.

do you think they already reached 200mb now?????

last time i ran updates it was 209mb
