Mandrake Control Centre Fails to Load

I'm using KDE and when I try to load MCC it shows it in the menu bar loading, but then it vanishes without an error.

When I did boot the box up I did get an error with harddrake at line 54 about some fault it had and it failed to load.

Also after installing MySQL via the RPM, vi does not seem to load anymore with an problem that it can not find libperl.so file. What happened there??

Run "drakconf" from a shell and let me know the error you get.

I has having a problem with not being able to run things like VI because it could not find libperl.so but I fixed that by linking the one I found via locate to the /usr/lib directory.

Though I am still uncertain why am I getting the segmentation fault error when trying to run harddrake.
