Okies, I have a old computer, 75 mhz converted to a 333 (dont ask lol)
Hewlet Packard with one of those old cards that is sound, modem and joystick all in one. The modem works, I can connect to the internet with the modem commands through linux kppp, I can make a conection and it connects durring boot under pp0, but I cannot get the rest of linux to see it. I am lost lol, I can add my ip number that is my isps to the network solv and I can watch the modem respond with one of those packet watcher programs that is built in. But it just doesn't go through. I'm stuck, frustrated, and looking at the 12 gauge shotgun and the computer screen
and no, I am not typing this on a linux system, but I am trying to get there

silverrock; wow! but have checked most of ur devices for compatibilty with
linux? depending age of devices they maybe not able to preform. original
post statement stated mdk6.5, that is now not supported, u may use it but
ur on u r own. unless search in archieves for mdk6.5 & whatever support u
can garner from users. know how u may feel ,got an old 486dx with nothing
but isa,s slots still running. slow very slow.LOL but do check ur hardware for compatibilty before plunging in ,will save headaches & problems.!
