I recently installed Mandrake 10 and I cannot seem to get XMMS to work. Every time I try to open an audio with it, XMMS freezes for a second then automatically closes.
Is this a known bug or is it just a problem with my computer or should I just try to install an old version of it from a 9.2 disc?
It's a well known bug if you're trying to start xmms from the menu.
Go into Mandrakelinux Control Center, then system, then menus, and select system menu. Then get the entry for xmms and change 'soundwrapper xmms' to just xmms.
