Mandrake 10 official

Hi everybody!

I have installed Mandrake 10. Even if in inittab is present starting runlevel 5, my machine always starts with console login. When I start X manually (startx) everything goes well and X starts with no errors. However, I can't get my pc to start with a graphic login. Anyone has seen it happen?

check in MCC (Mandrake Control Center)->system->DrakBoot & make sure you have graphical login checked.

from command line as root, run 'XFdrake', and in avanced settings select 'load X at startup'. I recall this from memory and may not be the exact words

Nope sorry doesn't work. Tried both possibilities. Always console login. Doesn't even try to start x. I'm getting tired of mdk 10.0 It's very buggy.
