Hey guys,
I am currently running Red Hat 8.0 and WinXP via dualboot. I'd like to use mandrake 10 where I have my Red Hat partition, so I've tried to download and burn the iso images for Mandrake. I've read a lot of the threads in here about burning the files as images etc etc, and the burning software i have on WinXP is Roxio Drag-to-Disc easy CD and DVD Creator 6, and in order to burn, you "drag" the file to the icon...but each time i try to drag one of the iso's to the icon, it says the file is too big...yet i don't see how that's possible, as i am using 700 mb cds. Red Hat 8 has KOnCD, but each time i try to burn an "image" or "boot-image" cd it brings up a number of errors, and the program itself is very confusing. Any suggestions?

May be you should copy the errors here. And why don't you try it from console? First, find the device number by
Code:
cdrecord -scanbus
and then you'll get 0,0,0 for your CD writer for example. Then you simply write
Code:
cdrecord dev=0,0,0 speed=24 image.iso
If you get some errors like `Cannot open SCSI driver' then you should pass hdc=ide-scsi parameter to kernel as explained in
