During the installation of Mandriva 2005 limited edition, Mandriva
can't found my hard disks.
For example "hda" is recognized as "hde" and "hdb" is recognized
as "hdf" (they are on the Primary IDE channel).
On the Secondary IDE channel recognize "hdg" rather than "hdc" and "hdh" rather than "hdc".

My hardware is :
-Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-7VAXP Bios : Award F14
-Disk driver: IDE1 Master Maxtor 80 Gb
IDE1 Slave Hitachi 80 Gb
Dvd-Rom : IDE2 Master LG-JLMS
Cd-Rom: IDE2 Slave Yamaha CRW

I've also found this problem during the installation of Mandrake 10.1

Oddly I have no problem with Mandrakelinux Move 2.0.

Just a swag here. Check the BIOS setup for the IDE controllers. If the controllers are RAID and it is enabled then the drives might be identified as hde, hdf instead of hda,hdb etc. Mandrakemove might not be able to detect the RAID feature nor care.
