mandrake 10.1 and wlan-ng questions

I have 2- prism2-based "Ashton Digital WRUB-2011i"
usb 802.11 "dongle-thingys" I got for two machines running mandrake 10.1.
The device is listed here...
http://linux-wless.passys.nl/query_c...m&zoek=chipset
as working in linux with wlan-ng.

I've seen alot on the net about installing it from source
but does the wlan-ng driver not come with mandrake 10.1?

I've come to like mandrake because of the ease of rpms via urpmi , but does this need manual installation and configuration?

I've read alot of information about the installation
of this driver, as I did for the orinoco_cs which, in the end, didnt apply to mandrake because it was automatic...

is mandrake NOT automated with wlan-ng like it is with orinoco_cs ?

any info to help me get this working is much appriciated!

thanks!

C.Poff
