Mandrake 10.1, & 10.2 kernel and kernel-source match up.

All,

I am having hard time trying to match up the kernel and the kernel-source. If I do uname -r, I get this: 2.6.11-6mdksmp , later I try to install the kernel source from the CDs, I get a different kernel-source installed. I try urpmi from the internet, the same thing. Result? When I try to install ndiswrapper and the nvidia driver, they don't work, thye don't find the correct kernel-source installed. How does anybody solve this problem? This is happening in 10.1 and 10.2. Since 10.2 is in beta, it's even worse.
The only way to solve this in 10.1 was installing a different kernel, for example 2.6.8-24mdksmp, then match up the kernel source.
One problem that I am trying to solve with the new kernel is that ndiswrapper locks up the computer. Nothing respond, the only way to get the computer back is by turning it off and on again.

Right now I don't have the kernel and kernel-source match up, so I keep getting the famous error from ndiswrapper:

FATAL: Error inserting ndiswrapper (/lib/modules/2.6.11-6mdksmp/misc/ndiswrapper.ko): Operation not permitted

The kernel and kernel source found in the CDs don't work.
