Mandrake 10.0 Kernel + Bootsplash Questions....

Ok,

I just upgraded to Mandrake 10.0 and I have 2 questions....

1) I removed the rpm package for Kernel 2.6.3 and currrently have the 2.6.4 kernel running. Can I delete the the 2.4 and 2.6.3 directories in the boot directory and remove the lilo references to these old kernels and run lilo to make my start up menu shorter?

2) How do I get the lilo bootsplash working?? I don't like the bootslash screen that Mandrake has right now...I think I have VGA=788 in the lilo.conf file currently...

Thanks,
Chris
