Madnva 10.1 Discovery
 
I bought this distro a couple of weeks ago, and was happy that it came in. However, I was disappointed to find upon installing that it lacked the GCC compiler -- which is my main use of the Linux OS as I do a lot of code customizations. At this point I am thinking about putting the package, manuals, plus 3 original 10.1 CDROMS up for auction on eBay.

Why not just set up your urpmi sources (search this forum for a how to) and download/install GCC.

Follow the instructions in my sig. You will have access to *everything* non-proprietary that is available in the 6-CD Powerpack Edition.

If you had looked at the package listing for Discovery on the Mandriva website, you would avoided the disappointment you experienced.
