lvm2 problem with kernel 2.6.31.6-1
Hello there!
Here is my problem, i've got 2 HDDs of 500 Gb each and i used LVM2 with mandriva 2009.1 to make a single partition of 1 TB. but the last kernel that i used without having issues to mount the LVM2 partition is kernel 2.6.29.1-4!
I've got the kernel 2.6.31.6-1 installed and each time that i boot this kernel i can't mount manually or the system won't mount as default my lvm2 partition.
My questions are:
- the 2.6.30ish kernels has dropped support for LVM2?
- what can i do to mount my lvm2 if the newer kernel still support lvm2?
thank you.
