LSI 1068 SATA/SAS controller on DELL 690

So I just got a DELL 690, but Mandriva 2006 (64-bit) doesn't seem to recognise the controller that comes with the DELL, and so I can't install from the CDs.

Anyone help with this?

Or is it not supported by the free version.

Thanks.

No problem with FC5 or SUSE10.1.

Would be sad if I had to switch.

Mandriva 2007 beta recognised the controller, so this gives me an excuse to try it out.
