logitech quickcam


I have a usb logitech web cam with in built mic .
i can get it to work with Ekiga video chat software.
Ekiga calls the camera. USB Camera (046d:089d) (PTLIB/V4L2)
but not kopete all thou it comes up on kopetes list i cant get it to work
it comes up as USB Camera (046d:089d). with the input of zc3xx???


if usinging it under a flash webpage situation how or where can i adjust the brightness of the picture

There is a quick solution which Mandriva probably supports; Camstream.

the cam gives a device 22 error in cam stream?
yes mandriva supports camstream

Device 22 error seems to be a bad argument???

Can you find the lines in dmesg which show it connecting to usb? Also, how are you configuring the device in camstream?

just selecting it on the quickcam list of cams (quickcam).

when cam is used on sites like that (Flash Player). Where or how can i adjust the brightness and sharpness.
is there a gui package that sets and adjusts camera and avi input decices?
