Login Screen

Heya all
Newbie here

Just got a quick question...

When logging into Mandrake 9.1 I am only getting icons for each user to login with.
I am wondering how I can change this to where I have to manually type in the username rather than using the icons.

I've been searchin around for how to do it and digging around the control panels/login manager but cant seem to figure it out.

Any help would be appreciated.

hi,

I'm also interested in changing my graphical login. I want it the other way around: using icons rather than type in the username. Is it possible in GDM? If not, can you tell us how to change the login manager?

you can use any display manager you like. See my post this thread .
