Linux wont start up after repartitioning the hdd

im getting this error msg when i try to startup linux
"resuming from /dev/hda8
resuming from device hda8
kernal panic : resume machine : unable to find suspended-data signature ( -misspelled ?"

all i did was to delete my Z partition and create a new z partition as it was ntfs and i wanted fat32 for obvious reasons

and now linux wont start so toavoid reinstalling again could any body help
me to fix this problem THANX in advance

im am runing a dual boot with XP pro

donkyboy666; oh no, 1st thing learning linux is do not delete critical parts of system. that was a no no. lucky for U still have W,s. guidance offered;
http://tldp.org/HOWTO/HOWTO-INDEX section 4.1.8 Partitions and Filesystems expand for complete info & instructions on howto it,s very extensive with many pages. but very informative so this time no problems.
you may have to reinstall os. sorry.
